Great video Lisa Marie ❤😊 21:34
Great video I hope you have a great vacation ❤
Looks delicious!
Bar soap for me. It definitely lasts longer.
Great budget breakdown 💸🤑👍
I use both😬. I use bar soap and then use liquid soap to keep from drying out my skin.
Hey Lisa. Really enjoyed. Have fun on your vacation.
When I’m going to a place I haven’t experienced, I budget $100 a day, knowing I’m going to go to something that has entrance fees. I try to eat cheaply the first couple days, then plan something nice and specific to the area. When I’m going back home for a visit, I just plan on grocery money and if there is something that I have been missing.
Does Mint mobile sell phones too?
Im not sure!
I would leave the 1309 in the account, until you get back from vacation and all the transactions have cleared.
I would work on getting a buffer into your bills account. I learned a long time ago, a zero based budget does not mean taking your account to zero.
It’s a good idea to have a budget, when we went to Mexico recently, I had a vacation budget, and came home with money. I try to eat cheaply when I’m there and have a nice maybe expensive dinner the last night there, to splurge.
I've always liked Clever Fox the best too. xoxo Wonderful video as always and very informative. xoxo
OMG I didn't know about the returns! I've had that happen but I had the receipt with the tracking number so Amazon reversed the debit. He should check his email for a copy of the UPS "receipt" that has the tracking number. xoxo
I love your nails!
Kiss glue on nails! $5 at Walmart.
😮😮😮😮😮@@LisaMarieBudgets
I live in Virginia! Hope you have a wonderful time!
I love this bread! It’s the best!
why are you budgeting 100$ for groceries if you won’t be home and you have plenty on hand.
Groceries for my friends house.
🥰💙💙
🫂
Is that including youtube? Great job
No it doesn’t.
Lisa, how long have you been contributing to your Roth IRA if you don’t mind me asking?
I’ve been fully funding it for maybe 3 years.
Sauce recipe please? ❤
Sadly these days you could easily spend $800 for 10 days that’s only $80 per day if you’re eating out and doing activities… Are you taking some of your own food with you? Or going to buy groceries once you get there? Edited to mention airport stuff is always so expensive, I hate that! 😂
Staying with a friend! Very little eating out.
@@LisaMarieBudgets awesome! Then yes $500 would be reasonable, have a nice trip 👍🏻
I would budget $500
I set a per diem number based upon meals, gas, entertainment, gifts, etc. and then keep it on my phone. I post every expense as soon as I make it, and adjust throughout the trip. Since you don’t have gas or meals, you can probably cut back substantially on daily spending, but I’d include a healthy buffer just in case. The last time we spent time with the grandkids in Las Vegas, I dramatically underestimated things like restaurant meals (outrageously expensive), arcades and local activities, and coffee runs. We’re going back in August and I’ve doubled the budget hoping we can do better. Fingers crossed (who would guess a McDonald’s run for six people would be nearly $80?)!
I hate worrying about money on vacation. You want to enjoy your time off. But I hate buyer’s remorse after the vacation. I would allow at least $50 a day. Let’s do a check in .
Morning
Yes, please. Do save those receipts and let us know all the ups and downs and oopsies. Your experience will serve as a template , not only for your future trips, but for ours as well.
❤❤
I would budget $500 for the trip. Then you could place any leftover money in a category when you come home. Enjoy your trip!! I love Virginia! I lived in VA 63 years of my life and just moved to Texas🙃 Take care🦋💗
I would give the vacation $600. + $50 for Airport spending to and from just in case. Then you have the rest for that night out and those gifts. Bottom line, have a plan, but also have faith in yourself. You can change your ways. Trust me. I hope you have a great weekend!
Good morning Lisa. Are you still able to use the planner that Daisy chewed on?
Yes! It’s the same one I’m using in the video.
You make better spaghetti than Sbarro's Pizza. 😊👍
I would budget $500 (which includes the gift) for your trip. If you don't spend it, then that's great!! Have a great time too :) I typically allocate $100 a day for my spending while on vacation :)
Yeah I was thinking now a days $100 a day is beyond realistic.
Thank goodness I’m staying with a friend. She’ll feed me 😂
It would be nice if you helped out with groceries since she’ll be feeding you.
Goodness what a comment! Let the friend do what she wants to do. It's their relationship and their agreement. I'm sure she knows how to thank and be grateful to her freind
Good morning Lisa
50 dollar perday
An idea for you Lisa. What about rolling the dollars and cents (in this case the $4.76) for cushion in checking account. Make cushion a line item so you know each payday how much should be there for cushion. Over a year that would give you over $100 for a cushion and over years it would add up nicely for those small unexpected things.
I probably need to do that.
Great video Carol Ann. Rooting for you
I like bar soap too. Nice seeing you on the video. I bet your hair will be so cute and cool when you get that haircut. Enjoy your upcoming trip!
Makes me hungry for a BLT 🥓 🍅🥬
Being debt free is such a great thing! It’s feeling so free that you almost feel reborn. Plus, you feel like you got an extreme pay raise
So nice to see your face and your haul. Great video and love the shirt on you. Hope you share a video when you get a new haircut. It would be nice to see your hair cut and how it turned out.
Thank you! Will do!
Definitely M a liquid soap, body wash person! But I do have some bar soaps and you’re right bar soap does last longer if I need to restock on my liquid soaps for stock up then I’ll switch over to the bar soap and the liquid ivory lavender believes it is so good and smells so amazing
I have a question, please? I have a credit card with an $8,400 balance, with an interest rate of 30.1%! Which is nuts! I don’t make minimum payments (@ $35/month it would take donkey’s years to payoff! I pay a minimum of $500/month and up to $600/month. Here is my question: $8,400 @30.1% paying $500/per month, how much of that $500 will be eaten up by interest, and not really hitting the balance? $500 less (30.1%) does that mean I’m only knocking off $350 off my balance each month? My new balance $8,400 drops by $350 = $8,050. Or am I calculating how my balance reduces. It’s scary being in debt. Adding no new purchases, I’m still accruing interest on that lower balance. I feel like I’m chasing myself getting this paid down. I have already paid off 6 credit cards (with smaller balances, not adding any new charges to those I’m paying off. I have to remind myself that I have a steady (but fixed) income. I paid cash to send my two children through medical school, I’d been saving up that account since the day they were born. So they have no student loans. My van is paid for and my house payment is only 17% of my monthly income. If any of you can help me understand how to get ahead and kill this account. I’ve got a small emergency fund which will keep me from using those credit cards! Debit card works just like a credit card, only it’s taken directly from checking account. I’m a huge budget nerd, so I know what annual bills are due, and I keep track of all my spending. Thank you.
If you pay $500 per month it will take 1 yr and 11 months to pay off the credit card. You will end up paying about $2,643.00 in total interest during that time. If you can do $600 each month it will be paid off in 1 yr and 6 months, with about $2,077 paid in interest. There are many credit card calculators you can use. Roughly 210/mo is the amount of interest on $8400 for first month. Then about $203 the 2nd month and $196 in interest the 3rd month when paying $500/mo. As your principal balance goes down the amount of dollars paid in interest goes down as more goes towards the principal. Best way to see this is by using an amortization calculator. Remember that 30.1% is an annual percentage rate. If you take $8400 x 30.1% (or .301 is decimal format) =2528.40 this is interest paid for the year. 2528.40÷12 months= $210.70/mo. If you only paid $210.70 your balance would remain the same and never go down. If you pay less then $210.70 then negative amortization is occurring and the balance will increase each month.
How about pay the highest interest first then move down the list
Love the transparency, we need more of this in the community, you got this! 🎉❤
Strawberries and blueberries were cheap!
Yes! It’s the end of the season though not for much longer
Aldi turkey bacon is my bacon but that sounds good.
When I tip its for the waiter/waitress who did the serving. I hate these places I hear who make the wait staff pool tips and divide out. Or the ones who even include bus and kitchen staff.
